ONLINE WORKSHOP WITH MARTIN POPOVSKI, PHD

ONLINE WORKSHOP WITH MARTIN POPOVSKI, PHD

May 27 (Friday), 18.00, Online Workshop with Martin Popovski, PhD (10-12 years), Zoom platform, 45 min. (max. 10 participants)
A condition for participating at the workshop is seeing the animated film PHANTOM BOY, available for free online from 20-27 May through the VoD platform Cinesquare. When watching a movie leaves us stunned, when the questions it raises prompt us to seek deep answers that lead to even more questions, and when we feel an unstoppable urge to share it with someone else, then philosophy is born. But it does not happen only in adults. The urge for philosophical reflection after watching certain movies is even more pronounced in children. Hence, in this workshop for children from 10 to 12 years old called "Philosophy with children", inspired by the animated film PHANTOM BOY, through thought experiments and joint philosophical research, children will try to give answers to some of the greatest philosophical questions about the essence of goodness and the meaning of the term "soul".

MARTIN POPOVSKI has a PhD in the field of philosophy of science, MA in the field of methodology in philosophy and he is a fascilitator of philosophy with children classes at "Uchilnica" (platform for education of children and youth). He is a pioneer in the field of philosophy with children in Macedonia promoting, developing and realizing this idea from 2013. Under the auspices of the Philosophical Society of Macedonia he organizes, participates in, and independently realizes a number of lectures, workshops and practical realizations of philosophy classes with children, in cooperation with prominent European experts in the field. Author of several scientific papers in this field in domestic and international journals.
