    Ivan Dzeparoski

    Ivan (Ivica) Dzeparoski (1958, Skopje) is a poet, philosopher and translator. He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje, where he obtained his Masters and PhD degrees. He is the author of twenty-five books, including: six poetry books, eleven books in the field of aesthetics and cultural theory, two poetic anthologies and six theoretical-essayistic selections. For his work he received the awards "Mlad Borec" (1984), "Dimitar Mitrev" (1993) "Paradigma" (2009) and "Miladinov Brothers" (2016). He is also a winner of the Grigor Prlichev Prize (1993) for poetry translation. He works at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje as a full professor on the subjects: Aesthetics, History of Aesthetics and Philosophy of Culture. He was and is Head of the Institute of Philosophy (2004-2009; 2013-), as well as the Secretary of the Macedonian PEN Center (1999-2001; 2008-2014). He appears as a signatory to the translation of works by William Blake, James Joyce, Joseph Brodsky, David Hume, Edmund Burke, etc. His works are translated into over a dozen foreign languages ​​in the world.

    Aleksandar Prokopiev

    Aleksandar Prokopiev (1953, Skopje) is a Macedonian novelist and essayist. He graduated and received his MA at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade, Comparative Literature and Theory of Literature. He has published about fifteen works that have been translated into English, Turkish, Italian, Polish, French, as well as in all Balkan languages. He is involved in regional and European anthologies of short stories. He works as a full-time professor at the postgraduate Culturology Studies on University "Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje. In addition to literature, in his youth Prokopiev was a member of well-known rock and roll bands, made part of independent theater troupes, and in recent years he has written scenarios, a few of which turned into films.

    Vladimir Blazhevski

    Vladimir Blazhevski (1955, Skopje) graduated from the Academy of Theater, Film, Radio and Television in Belgrade, Serbia. He works as a full professor at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje. He is a scriptwriter of several famous Macedonian films, including the award-winning and most notable "Gipsy Magic" and "The Great Water". In his long career, he has received numerous and significant awards, including: First Prize for Best Documentary Film for the "Chinese Market" of Duisburger Filmwoche 2001, Golden Arena for Best Director for "High Fay" at the Yugoslav Film Awards in Pula 1987, First award for best film about "Punk Is Not Dead" in the "East of the West" program at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival 2011, and the audience is awaiting his latest film release with the working title "Freedom or Death / The Era of the Monkey."

Филозофскиот Филмски Фестивал е единствениот филмски фестивал во Македонија и регионот што се одвива на крстопатот помеѓу филозофијата и филмот, и еден од ретките во светот коишто работат во областа на филм-философијата. Од една страна, Фестивалот се обидува да ја промовира идејата за филмот како медиум којшто може да испровоцира филозофска размисла и/или да илустрира филозофски концепти и идеи, на овој начин обраќајќи ѝ се на генералната публика, но и на младите во Македонија поттикнувајќи го развивањето на креативната и критичка мисла. Од друга страна, се обидува да поттикне естетички анализи и истражувања на филмскиот јазик како форма sui generis и да ги охрабри младите режисери и филмски работници во Македонија на рефлексија врз клучните филозофски прашања и концепти со цел градење, развивање и негување на своите автентични филмски светогледи.
